In October of 2001 the Girvan Youth Trust purchased the Cranford Hotel with the
intention of turning it into the foremost youth facility that will meet the needs for the youth of Girvan and the surrounding area.
We
submitted an application to the Community Fund (Lottery) for £200,000
and we were successful with our bid. We have match funding of £100,000.
Work has already started on the roof, to make it watertight, with funding that we received from Forward Scotland.
