Everyone should be aware of the imminent (and grand!!) opening of the Z1 Juice Bar.

The juicers are here! Our juicers are being trained!!  The bar has been painted and trendy-fied!!  The funky stools were on display at the S3 Welcome BBQ!!  So, we’re nearly there!!

But just incase some of you are not aware of what Z1 is, Emma had a little chat with some of our Z1 team.  Now, they aren’t giving away all their secrets just yet, but they have fed back some info for you guys!!

The proposed opening date is very, very, soon - November in fact, however the actual date will remain secret until its definitely, wholly and positively identified as being confirmed!!!

Until The Zone opens the Z1 Bar will only be open 1 Friday every month in the bar in the community centre, with different bands/entertainment playing.  “We are in the process of designing our posters and cards so people should keep a look out for them as they will be appearing shortly and will give details of the hired entertainment etc.” Marianne and Matt of the Z1 team explain.

Emma also asked a bit about what juices will be available from the bar and how much they will cost.  The Z1 team had issued a questionnaire to gauge opinions of what young people wanted to see from the Juice Bar. 

Marianne and Matt went on to say, “On the refreshment side of things, we are pricing and intend to sell J20's and Appletizer as well as our fruit smoothies/juices.

Prices, especially for smoothies/juices are still to be finalised, as through our questionnaire that people filled in, we received mixed opinions on prices.”

Opening times will be from 7 - 9.30pm on a Friday night for 14-18 year olds. 

All that remains now is to keep your eyes open for posters detailing the date of the opening night!!
